Volunteering is our mission, not our business
NIAS is a group of young professional Iranians who share an interest in Iranian culture and humanitarian. The organization is independent of all governments and international institutes; we are delighted to promote humanitarian and fundamental human values. At NIAS, we emphasize the importance of moral values and ethical principles to achieve humanitarian purposes. Without your lending hand it will be progressively difficult to deliver humanitarian assistance to underprivileged citizens.

With the generation gap increasing radically, our focus is to encourage Iranian-Americans to discover Persian culture and literature. NIAS emphasizes bringing the two cultures together by inviting professional Iranian members in the community to our forums. During each meeting, members will have the opportunity to meet experts, researchers, and professors in the community on various subjects.
"Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain."
-Saadi
