Hard Tail Forever

When it comes to style and fashion, an unspoken hierarchy exists. We will spend all kinds of money on party dresses, stylish work clothes, handbags big and small, and shoes of all sorts. The one area that we neglect the most is loungewear. In my experience, most women can't be bothered to wear cute, comfortable, luxurious items around the house. Perhaps it's because no one will see it, and what's the point of wearing something fabulous if no one witnesses it? It's the fashion equivalent of a tree falling in a forest. Well, thanks to my very stylish friend Shamcy, I am now a loungewear convert. Why shouldn't we drape ourselves in lovely cashmeres, knits, and lace if we're home alone watching movies? Why reserve our cuteness exclusively for when others are around to see it? Are we not worthy of looking and feeling good for our own sake?

Thanks to my epiphany, gone are the days of sitting around the house in old slouchy college sweatshirts and ill-fitting yoga-inspired pants. So say hello to delicious knits and colorful patterns that make you happy when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. After all, aren't you worth it?
