Love exists in a moment; it is an expression that is universally known. It exists in the moments where there is absolute acceptance of one another. Love does not naturally exist. We are capable of expressing love, but the expression needs to be created. Love is profound, it cannot be bought or sold, but only expressed; it is the connection of human beings, it knows no language, country borders or immortality. Love is a vulnerable act; it takes someone of courage to commit to its existence.
Love is like smooth vibrant paint expressed on a canvas leaving the creator as the artist. It is up to artists to mold the expression; gently expressing love with soft and nurturing brush stokes. Using pastels found in the blossoms of spring, artists’ strokes take the steps of a ballroom dancer, delicate yet graceful. Others take intentional, passionate strokes to the beat of the samba, using the colors of fire. Yet they are all artists, creators of their human expression. Their expression has fluidity; they do not live with restrictions. They are enslaved by their creation.
We love one another because of the creation of a profound enlightenment in us. We commit ourselves to something bigger, brighter, and more beautiful in order to witness something miraculous. But before we pick up the brush and palette, we must give ourselves time and experience in which we can clearly define what love is for ourselves. The definition we create becomes our foundation to our expression. Our expression is only true when created by the original artist.
